Hidden Herd Presents:UNCLE JUNIOR Fresh from touring the UK with Man/Woman/Chainsaw and now Tooth, including dates at Concorde 2 and DUST, London-based Uncle Junior are breaking out of the capital’s DIY and underground scene. After a run of exhilarating shows in sweatboxes like Brixton’s Windmill and beyond, the trio – comprising Oli Noble, Eric Rye Lees and Isaac West – have built an enviable reputation for their tight yet erratic live performances. The band have already been championed by BBC Radio 6 Music, So Young Magazine, Clash Magazine and Crack Magazine for their pick ’n’ mix approach to noise, hardcore, indie and experimental music, and their recent four-chord pop single ‘Melt Me’ marks the start of an exciting new chapter. Uncle Junior’s impressive live track record includes an appearance at Village Underground during SXSW London, alongside shows with Adult DVD, Sorry, Alien Chicks, Ramones drummer Marky Ramone, Spanish Horses, Y, Bathing Suits, University and MORN. + Lindow Man + Dura Mater + Home Audio 18+
