Privacy, in plain English
Gig Gull is a listings site, not a data business. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies and nothing to sell. Here is the full picture.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages get read. It is cookieless and aggregate only: it tells us things like how many people viewed a page and which country they were in, and it cannot identify you or follow you around the web. Nothing is stored on your device for it.
The contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we receive your email address and your message. It arrives as an email (delivered by Resend, our email provider), we use it only to read and reply, and we do not add you to any list or share it with anyone. The form is protected from bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser without setting tracking cookies.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner. During private preview periods a single functional cookie may be set to remember that you entered the door PIN. That is it.
Tickets and other sites
Buying a ticket always happens on someone else's site (the venue's own box office, DICE, See Tickets, Fatsoma and friends). Once you follow a ticket link, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We never see what you buy.
Hosting
The site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP addresses and requests) to run and protect the service, as almost every website's host does.
