The Cost of Raving presents: Monrroe + Duskee

Monrroe (Elijah Symons) is still a fairly fresh face in the Drum & Bass scene but has been making an impact from the start with his instantly recognisable melodic and soulful sound, a sound that manages to combine a very organic & human feel with the high intense energy of Drum & Bass. Growing up in the remote village of Stanway in the West Country, not only does he sound like one of the locals off of Hot Fuzz, but years spent on site as a traveller led to him being surrounded in the blissful sounds of 90s jungle and acid house by his mum — via Last.fm
